Glasgow city council have this amazing campaign to stop illegal flyposting where they stick huge stickers on the posters saying “Cancelled”, in small print the stickers say that the poster is cancelled. But for the innocent by stander it looks like the event/ album launch etc is canceled.
I saw this on my way into town and almost died laughing.
Knowing Glasgow the 2nd coming was probably canceled due to bad weather, however it’s likely that it might also be due to a lack of interest.
That’s quite clever!
I don’t think it was an event (so it couldn’t be canceled for bad weather) because it says “on CD, vinyl and download” near the bottom.
Yeah but it’s not as amusing if you acknowledge that it’s just a promo for an album launch. I’ve not seen any posters for this album that aren’t defaced, so I have no idea whether it’s a tongue in cheek band launching an album, or if it’s some radical christian group…
Photoshopped
Did Jesus plan a rain-date?
‘shopped anyway
Actually, it’s a pretty hilarious kick in the balls to people too cheap to pay for outdoor advertising, or too stupid to properly promote themselves online. Put your crap up illegally, get shat on. About time a government entity figured something out creatively.
I wonder how long it will be untill photoshopped becomes a meme unto it’s self?
I always like Sunny weather and disliked gloomy rainy weather.-~-
the weather these days is hotter than the previous decades, i guess it is the effect of global warming~:.
