Apparently researchers at the University of California, Sandiego, and Harvard, have identified a Gene which predisposes you to having Liberal Views.
Their paper doesn’t appear in a life sciences journal but in the Journal of Politics which makes me slightly sceptical of it’s validity though.
Is it wrong that the first thing I thought of was that some crazy conservatives would use this to create a virus that targeted people with this gene and rendered it inactive or made people with it sterile so as not to allow the spread of liberalism to spread…
While this amuses me, I am slightly irked that the plethora of Venn Diagram joke images on the net are not actually Venn Diagrams at all. A Corrct representation of I aint afraid of no ghosts (ignoring the double negative) would have ghosts as a circle inside things I aint afraid of, the one above means the ghosts I aint afraid of are equivalent to Peter Venkman, which is nonsensical.
Maybe I’m reading too much into this.

I thought they they were taking the piss but I looked it up and Mark 11:12-14 clearly states:
Mark 11:12-14 (King James Version)
12And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
13And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
14And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
This amuses me no end, almost as much as the whole god hates shrimps thing. I think very much doubt that this revelation will lead to a slump in the sale of Fig Newtons among fundamentalist Christians though.
I assume the image was taken at the Rally for Sanity, held on Saturday.
