Bubblegum Crisis: Menial [Fan Comic]

I want to like “Bubblegum Crisis: Menial” I really do, from what I’ve seen the artist has gotten the art style of Bubble Gum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 down pat, the thing is… It’s a bit rubbish… Don’t get me wrong the Art work is as I said very authentic, it’s just the story telling and the dialogue which are lacking, really lacking… Also for some reason despite this being supposedly set in America they seem to have forgotten to make any of the characters look western… You can check it out if you like Bubblegum Crisis as there are only a handful of pages of it. Hope it gets better because I need a Bubblegum Crisis fix and so far this isn’t it.

Krang has a new robot to boss around in Marco … | Rampaged Reality

Krang has a new robot to boss around in Marco D’Alfonso’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles / Transformers remix. Crazy wad of gum! Related Rampages: Mega Mario | Downside of a Batcave (More) Optimus Prime x Krang by Marco D’Alfonso (Tumblr) (deviantART) (Twitter) Via: hello-zombie

You may have noticed I like crossover art, I also like Transformers and Ninja Turtles, and I like this image of Krang taking control of Optimus Prime by artist Marco D’Alfonso as well as his Mega Man/ Mario Crossover pictured bellow. It’s actually worth looking at his Deviant Art page he has a hell of a lot of cross over art there.

Mario and Yoshi were ready for something new and dangerous. They have been itching to try out Mega Man’s gear for YEARS. Meet Mega Mario and Rush Yoshi! This is a brilliant mash up by Marco D’Alfonso. Mega Mario by Marco D’Alfonso/m7781 (Blog) (deviantART)

A Link to the Future

This Back to the Future/Zelda crossover design is pretty cool, it took me at least 30 seconds to find the origin of this image. It’s available from Level Up Studios as a T-Shirt and I think it’s by artist Caldwell Tanner.

Iron Man? Nope!

Iron Man? Nope! Artist Evan Lee decided to change the Marvel crime fighter’s role and bring Iron Girl into the spotlight. Evildoers beware!
Iron Girl by Evan Lee (Blog) (CGHUB)

While I quite like this version of “Iron Girl” by Evan Lee (Blog) (CGHUB) I have to admit it took me a few seconds to realise that she wasn’t pregnant and that she was instead clutching her helmet to her tummy… That armour is a bit ridiculous, no protection to her boobs of bum. All in all I can see why despite being more aesthetically pleasing Tony Stark’s female counterpart wasn’t as successful…

It’s worth visiting his Gallery over at CG Hub  as it looks like he’s working on a game that might be called Gladus Regalis and the artwork is stunning.

Battlecat was one of my favourite characters in He-Man, there was something about his attitude that I liked, Matt Parsons (RedBubble) (Flickr) (Twitter) has created this homage in which we see battle cat as a kitten.

It was available on Shirt Punch yesterday and is now available on RebBubble.

Minecraft Creeper latex dress

Minecraft Creeper latex dress (by Katie Sandström)

Mincraft is one of those games I’ve been meaning to play ever since I first heard about it at least a year ago, it’s permeated geek culture, so much so that I think this dress by Katie Sandstrom is awesome despite not having played the game. What is even cooler about it is that she apparently made it herself, and what’s even cooler than that is that she also made a Latex Tardis costume…

Winter is Coming and Iron Man is Going to Kick some Lannister Ass.

I love it when it occurs to me that a mashup would be quite cool and I google for it only to find that it’s already been done. And Done well. The Original is below by Marvel artist Mark Djurdjevic.

I am writing on some paper.

I have to say I’m sick and tired of all the I am the 99% crap that people are posting all over the internet, get a job! I am also one of the 99% big whoopdie doo. I agree the financial system is broken but writing your sob story on a bit of paper and photographing yourself isn’t going to help anyone.
