I wasn’t going to blog this, but then I pissed myself laughing at the fact that she had her hair done with a fork… There is a whole photo set at the The Disney Wedding Blog of this Little Mermaid/Disney Princess Themed Wedding. Go check it out. I’ll leave you with this image of the bridal party:
Sillysparrowness is apparently a German teacher and a YouTube Sensation (If she wasn’t before she will be having built a TARDIS, that’s how the internet works isn’t it?) In the above video she goes through the trials and tribulations of building a collapsible TARDIS.
The video is worth watching if only for the “Bag of Shame”.
It’s interesting to see someone else wax lyrical about a language that I just speak… The article Why Arabic is Terrific is a good read for anyone interested in linguistics. It also has some I assume good links to learning the language and tells you why you might want to.
I don’t blog enough stuff about a A Song of Ice and Fire, so when I saw these water colours linked to from a friends Tumblr (Caution I think it plays loud music) I had to blog them. Plus when I went to daenerys-mod’s page on deviant art I found Disney Princess art which I think I blog whenever I see just because I think it’s funny that I blog about Disney Princesses…
This stuff is beautiful, I’d quite happily order prints to put up on my wall. One thing that struck me as sad though is that she has Twilight fan art in her portfolio. Sad Times…
This year, I really wanted to make Yuki’s costume, but we could not decide for a long time what she should be. We threw around some ideas, but none of them really excited me. I’ve had this idea of dressing Yuki up as Totoro for a long time (since she was born?), but was worried that no one would know what she was. But since I couldn’t think of anything better, I decided to go for it. So what if I would have to explain a hundred times who she was supposed to be! At least she would be adorable and original . . . right?
There are more pictures on that blog as well as a tutorial on how to make the leaf and whiskers.
I blog way too much about Disney Princesses for a straight guy so I figured I’d add some masculinity to the blog. I saw this image and it made me chuckle.
Amusing play on the “I’m not really a bitch I just play one on TV” quote. You can buy it as a poster on Amazon (I’m Not Really a Bitch I Just Play One in Your Life Funny Poster Print – 33×48 cm) although I think most of the references I’ve seen to it online have been to a tin sign. See if you can find that and post a link in the comments.
