Black Mage Beanie: For Sale Sold :(

Black Mage Beanie
Erica just put up a new handmade beanie on her Etsy. Her designs just keep getting better and better, although the R2-D2 is still my favorites.

I think I’ve posted stuff by Etsy Seller Olive here before, I saw this Black Mage Beanie and I thought MUST HAVE, but it’s been sold! Curese.

There are still some cool things on her store like this R2D2 beanie, but no Black Mage Beanie…

Mental German Woman Builds her Own TARDIS

Sillysparrowness is apparently a German teacher and a YouTube Sensation (If she wasn’t before she will be having built a TARDIS, that’s how the internet works isn’t it?) In the above video she goes through the trials and tribulations of building a collapsible TARDIS.

The video is worth watching if only for the “Bag of Shame”.

Song of Ice and Fire Water Colour Portraits With Bonus Disney Princesses!

Ygritte

I don’t blog enough stuff about a A Song of Ice and Fire, so when I saw these water colours linked to from a friends Tumblr (Caution I think it plays loud music) I had to blog them. Plus when I went to daenerys-mod’s page on deviant art I found Disney Princess art which I think I blog whenever I see just because I think it’s funny that I blog about Disney Princesses…

This stuff is beautiful, I’d quite happily order prints to put up on my wall. One thing that struck me as sad though is that she has Twilight fan art in her portfolio. Sad Times…

Arya Stark
Asha Greyjoy
Daenerys Targaryen
Magaery Tyrell
Cersei Lannister

Brienne of Tarth
Melisandre of Asshai
Catelyn Tully

With Bonus Disney after the break!

Adorable Toddler in Totoro Costume

It’s almost as if the expression AWWWWWWW was created just for this set of pictures…

From You and Mie:

This year, I really wanted to make Yuki’s costume, but we could not decide for a long time what she should be.  We threw around some ideas, but none of them really excited me.  I’ve had this idea of dressing Yuki up as Totoro for a long time (since she was born?), but was worried that no one would know what she was.  But since I couldn’t think of anything better, I decided to go for it.  So what if I would have to explain a hundred times who she was supposed to be!  At least she would be adorable and original . . . right?

There are more pictures on that blog as well as a tutorial on how to make the leaf and whiskers.
