I read this post about electrontic recycling in Japan on Boing Boing and it reminded me of a Japanese film I watched a while ago called Bright Future (?????, Akarui Mirai). I just saw on JapanCast That a live action version of grave of the fireflies is coming to japanese cinemas on saturday. The original anime is amazing, and the easilly the most depressing thing I have ever watched, hopefully the live action film will just as good.
