7 Deadly Sins of Disney

These are some cool paintings by Deviant Art User ~chill07 depicting 7 Disney princesses as the embodiment of the 7 deadly sins. I’ve never thought about it this way before but I can totally see where she is coming from.

If I had a girl-child-thing I’d print these off and put them up on her bedroom wall, I had enough trouble reading the sin as it was so I doubt she would be able to until she was old enough to see the humour in it.

Really Dark Voltron Fan Film

As far as I can tell Voltron: Defender of the Universe, never made it to the UK, which is disappointing, I loved this TV show when I was a kid. This fan-made film adds a level of darkness to the canon. As Susana Polo of the The Mary Sue rightly points out this has an almost BSG level of realism to it.

I love the Quote:

This is how the mighty fall, Not with a roar but with one small last breath.

I think there is a cartoon reboot of Voltron being aired, I’ve not had a chance to see it yet though.

Knitting Hero?

It worries me how many of my friends would actually probably enjoy this game… I can’t find the original source of the image unfortunately though…

I know nothing of knitting but I assume that you could probably make a game out of twiddling the two analogue sticks to simulate the needles. Maybe press a button to change the colour of the yarn? Or Hold the triggers to do some kind of funky knot…

Mystique is a Smurf?

I’ve seen this image before but this is the first time that I’ve actually read what the smurfs are saying and it clicked in my brain what it was implying about Mystique’s belt of skulls…

I didn’t know that smurfs had golden bones, or is it just their skulls that are gold, either way I can see now why Gargamel wants to collect them so much now.

I wonder what Mystique’s smurf name was? Answers in the comments…

EDIT:

Never let it be said that I lack in attention to detail and attribution… I found the source of the image, it’s by deviant art user caanantheartboy, from the description:

This week’s Line is Drawn piece on CBR.

The theme was, dun dun DUN… “dramatic reveals!” I chose “Mystique, your real father is… Papa Smurf!” I didn’t do exactly what the theme suggests, but went for something different.

…Where DO those tiny skulls come from?
