Do not read this if you have not seen the Dark Knight Rises.
It’s really funny, but it is essentially the whole plot of the film, it also has a minor spoiler for The Avengers, but nothing major.
Images after break, you have been warned… Continue reading “Graphic Spoiler Alert Does TDKR”
This is today’s T-Shirt over on Ript Apparel, BatMan Sitting on a Throne made up of artefacts of his fallen foes. I’m not sure I like the tagline “Game of Rogues” but I guess it works. The original Image is by Ninja Ink.
What man could possibly not want to shave his mustache and beard into the shape of the bat signal? What man indeed? Well Redditor Captain_Auburn_Beard did just that, and we all respect him all the more for it!
Let’s face it even if you were Superman if you had the opportunity to pose in BatMan’s cowl you would. This image is by Augustinus on Deviant Art
You can apparently download the instructions for this USB Batsignal from Dad Can Do but you need to sign up for an account and I can’t be bothered doing that…
I’m a little skeptical of the quality of the finished product given how photo-shopped the example image looks:
This comic by Metro Kitty explains why Spider-Man needs a hyphen but Superman and Batman don’t. It does raise another issue. Are people actually afraid of bats? Batman is supposed to have chosen the bat because it’s something that strikes fear in the heart of men, I don’t think I know very many people that are afraid of bats, they are so cute:
How could you be afraid of that? Spiders on the other hand…
I’m not afraid of spiders myself, sure some of them creep me out a little I’d I’d never hug a Black Widow, but they seem to elicit fear an awful lot more than bats do…
I have to admit I never thought of it like this, although they are wrong on one point, when I was a kid I WAS Spiderman…
I don’t have much context on this other than the fact that is was taken on the 7th of May 2010 near Milawakee at Costume Con 28

I blog way too much about Disney Princesses for a straight guy so I figured I’d add some masculinity to the blog. I saw this image and it made me chuckle.

I like this reinterpretations of the poster for the Chat Noir (Black Cat) cabaret house. It’s quite skilfully done and I have always liked Catwoman… The image is by Rafael Albuquerque apparently I don’t have much more information though…
