Comic Super Hero Print Leggings

Sadly no longer available, these Leggings from Romwe featured covers of various Batman comics on them. If you were able to invent a time machine and go back far enough for them to be available you could go and get them for $24.

Alternatively you could buy some leggings that they sell right now…

DC Comics Valentines

Aquaman dc-comics-valentines-c-1978-1980

These Valentines Day Cards featuring DC characters are cringeworth, but also quite cool. Also if you want to know why I chose Aquaman as the header image for this post, it’s because I don’t think he gets enough exposure, he’s a dancing master!

Graphic Spoiler Alert Does TDKR

Do not read this if you have not seen the Dark Knight Rises.

It’s really funny, but it is essentially the whole plot of the film, it also has a minor spoiler for The Avengers, but nothing major.

Images after break, you have been warned… Continue reading “Graphic Spoiler Alert Does TDKR”

Game of Rogues

Movie T-Shirt - Game of Rogues - RIPT Apparel

This is today’s T-Shirt over on Ript Apparel, BatMan Sitting on a Throne made up of artefacts of his fallen foes. I’m not sure I like the tagline “Game of Rogues” but I guess it works. The original Image is by Ninja Ink.

The Bat-Stache!

What man could possibly not want to shave his mustache and beard into the shape of the bat signal? What man indeed? Well Redditor Captain_Auburn_Beard did just that, and we all respect him all the more for it!

USB Batsignal

You can apparently download the instructions for this USB Batsignal from Dad Can Do but you need to sign up for an account and I can’t be bothered doing that…

I’m a little skeptical of the quality of the finished product given how photo-shopped the example image looks:

Why Spider-Man Needs the Hyphen

Comic about the fact that Spider-Man is spelled with a hyphen; you can remember it by pretending that the hyphen is his web!

This comic by Metro Kitty explains why Spider-Man needs a hyphen but Superman and Batman don’t. It does raise another issue. Are people actually afraid of bats? Batman is supposed to have chosen the bat because it’s something that strikes fear in the heart of men, I don’t think I know very many people that are afraid of bats, they are so cute:

How could you be afraid of that? Spiders on the other hand…

Scary Spider

I’m not afraid of spiders myself, sure some of them creep me out a little I’d I’d never hug a Black Widow, but they seem to elicit fear an awful lot more than bats do…
