Gothic Disney Princesses

It’s been a while since I posted any Disney Princesses here, so I decided to post these Gothic Disney Princesses by Skullyan. Click on the images for full size.

He’s also done these lovely illustrations of the 4 seasons:

The images represent Winter, Autumn, Summer and Spring in that order, why that order? Because I assume he added them in chronological order starting from Spring and deviant art sorts images starting with the most recent so I pasted them in the the order I found them and I’m too lazy to change it…

Mandie Manzano Disney Stained Glass

Found this lovely stained Glass image by Mandy Manzano featuring a whole bunch of Disney characters. Her Facebook page has more of her work including a preview of another unfinished Disney Stained glass image below:

She doesn’t just do Disney though look at her Facebook page there is even a shop you can buy stuff from.

Think You Love Snow White? Not As Much As this Person…

I don’t think anyone loves Snow White as much as Annfaye Kao, 27, from Taichung, Taiwan. According the the Daily Mail the Tattoo’s took three months to finish. Ouch.

Still it’s pretty and she now has the entire cast of a film she loves on her back… Where she can’t see it… Oh Well…

Annfaye, from Taichung, Taiwan, had the intricate art work inked across her whole back in a marathon three month tattoo session

Defenders of the Enchanted Kingdom

Deviant artist steevinlove has been hard at work re-imagining the Disney princesses as Comic book heroines, he’s done a good job and come up with some cringe-worthy names for them… Apparently the inspiration came from the Disney/Marvel merger. I just think it’s awesome he’s included Mary Poppins it’s good to see the British contingent represented…

Re-imagined well known heroines of history, fairy tales and fables coming together as a team of superheroes known as “The Defenders of the Enchanted Kingdom” Their lives have taken mysterious turns and led some down darker paths that have brought them together to protect their magical land.

Disney Princes and Princesses as Cover Models Magaznines

prince-magazine-1.jpg

I was going to post this as two blog posts one for the Princess and one for the princesses, but I can’t be bothered… Disney Princess don’t seem to get as much attention on the internet, probably because they mostly are card board cut out 6 year old girl fantasy princes with no personality what so ever. These two collections have both Disney princes and princesses on the cover of a variety of magazines. They are as far as I can tell all by the artist Petit Tiaras, Enjoy…

Fairy Tale Pin Up Calendar by J Scott Campbell

dp-pinup-1.jpg

Disney do not have a monopoly on fairy tales, I really wish that people would bother looking at stuff before immediately saying that they are Disney related… This is not a Disney pin up Calendar it’s a fairy tale pin up calendar, the fact that quite a few of the images look like they might have been inspired by Disney is a probably just because our collective consciousness associates the stories with the Disney version.

You can buy this 2012 calendar from J Scott Campbell’s store for the princely sum of $25. I can only assume that some of these images were inspired by Disney, some of them are blatantly based on the Disney originals but others aren’t even Disney Movies…
