I’ve not had a chance to download and play this but I love that it exists. In a world where companies like Square are shutting down ChronoTrigger remakes, it’s nice to see that Capcom have actually given their blessing to this game.
It’s MegaMan but each of the themed levels is based on a Character from the Street Fighter series of games, you fight your way through their respective levels then fight a MegaMan version of them and take their special power.

Miner Rescue! by Alessandro Lino is a nifty little game with retro graphics, that will probably take you about 1o minutes to complete. Aliens have invaded and you need to go into the mines and rescue the miners, combat is best avoided to start with, as the aliens are tough but slow you can easily jump over them.
My only problem with this game is that it’s way too easy, it looks like the kind of retro game you’d find on a C64 or Spectrum, but completing it holds not satisfaction as there isn’t really much challenge to it.
Quietus is a little flash platformer that really evokes the Castle levels from old Super Mario games. or any of a number of games I used to play on the MSX, like J.P. Winkle or Castle Excellent. It starts easy enough, but get really difficult really fast.
I Jumped out of my seat when I saw the first giant worm.
There is supposed to be a story about being a hanged man trying to escape from hell or something like that, but to be honest you can skip it and just play the game.
Digital a Love Story is a game that borrows it’s UI from the days of the Amiga. The Games UI looks like an amiga workbench circa 1988 or so, you have just received a modem and you have to dial into BBS’s to gather information. Eventually you have to hack the phone system to get free long distance calls, all in your quest to do something… I’ve not played this game but I like the retro vibe of the concept.
