Available as a pre-order from Entertainment Earth this grumpy cat plushie is pretty cool.
A couple of weeks ago there was a video circulating the tubes of a guy singing Mad World in Gollum’s voice. That guy is Ijameswalters (I’m going to assume his name is James Walters?) and he’s released a new video of himself and an uncredited female singer (Why Precious not credit female singer?) covering Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know.
You can skip the first couple of minutes of it, which consists of a skit where Gollum plays psychiatrist.
If don’t know what Goatse.cx consider yourself lucky and don’t look it up… But you can now be part of the meme and sign up for your very own @Goatse.cx email address! Unless it’s an elaborate hoax/troll and everyone who has signed up for an address gets a Goatse image sent to them…

The “Fail Whale” is a fairly iconic image that anyone who’s used twitter has probably seen at some point, unless you never use the web interface or have been really lucky. This cake was created by Mariana Pugliese a cake designer from Buenos Aires.
Interestingly the Fail Whale was designed by a Chinese illustrator Yiying Lu and was originally an elephant:

This will go over the head of anyone who doesn’t speak Arabic but the letter wearing the glasses is called Meem and is the Arabic letter ‘M’.
I’m noticing a trend of comics/images on the net implying that people are dropping everything to play Skyrim, it is a good game but I think people are taking it a little too far. Either that or the suspension on this band wagon is going to fail fairly soon as far too many people seem to be jumping on it…
