What is it with retro studios putting the word Pixel before everything in the names of their games? Pixel Noir looks conceptually like a really cool game, all have to go on is the teaser trailer above though.
It’s well worth a watch. And if I’m not mistaken the people making it have named themselves after Cyan from Final Fantasy VII’s signature SWD Tech.
I found this by clicking on a random link to the side of a YouTube Video, it’s a really haunting song and a really messed up video.
From the video description:
Tigersushi and Excuse My French are pleased to present the new video for DyE’s new single, Fantasy.
Directed by animation wunderkind Jérémie Périn, the video tells the story of a group of highschool kids ready for teenage mischief. They break into the local swimming pool intending a session of innocent nightswimming, in an awkward climate of romance and apprehension.
What happens next is for you to discover here. nsfw.

I can’t find the original source of this image apart from this Reddit post which is unfortunate, however it reminded me of the below image which I have had in my queue waiting to be blogged for months.
I have this image down in my notes as being by iGreefing and that matches the water mark but it’s not longer in their gallery…
I’d love to put together a Mario game in the style of Limbo I think it would be super creepy.
While I’m on the subject of B&W Mario games, there is also this image which is also in my to-blog queue:
I bought @Avarinne something like this from a craft market a while ago, but I don’t think it was Sterling Silver if it was it certainly didn’t cost as much as these things do… Still they are very pretty. They are on sale for the next day or so: Origami Crane (Above) Origami Triceratops & Origami Dog (Below) all $139.50
Found this pretty cool TMNT beanie on Etsy by lpatch13:
Both Ninja Turtle beanie & eye mask are handmade with 100% acrylic yarn with my very own pattern! The hat and eye mask are 2 seperate pieces that can be worn over your eyes or pulled back on top of head/beanie. The eye mask is a complete circle made to wrap around head/face (but can also be made to connect in the back with velcro if specified).
The same shop also has sells a Castle Crashers Beanie:
I’m sure I know a fair few people who would love these wedding invites, they are made from re-purposed film cannisters (soon to be a rare comodity?) . These were put together by Trevor and Larissa of ambient studios.
As two passionate photographers we decided to try to turn our mutual obsession with photography into a theme. Since both Trevor & I enjoy shooting film on the side for personal projects it seemed only natural that we integrate this somehow into our day. (apart from actually supplying our photographers with film for their cameras of course!)
The result is a collaboration between Trevor & I and an invitation that took an assembly line of 5 to create. We had to make about 40 after all was said and done and I was lucky enough to have the help of my ladies and a little bit of wine! (Thanks girls!) It was tons of fun and completely worth it…
I hate the fact that the onus/blame for sexual assault always seems to fall on the victim, surely if some scumbag is going to assault someone then he is to blame, regardless of where it happens or when it happens, or what the person who was assaulted was wearing at the time.
No one is asking for it, if you sexually assault someone you are just a dick/criminal.
