OpenKnit An Open Source Clothing Printer

OpenKnit is an open source clothing printer, you can find the instructions to build your own on GitHub. I think this is a great idea, from the looks of it you just feed in the pattern and your measurements and a couple of hours later you have clothes.
Here is a video that explains is much better than I can hope to:

N.E.S. Dress By Liz Tan

Crafty Liz Tan has made this awesome N.E.S. controller Dress for a Halloween party she went to. There is a whole Flickr set of images from the video game inspired Halloween party on Flickr.

Sadly it doesn’t look like she’s selling them but on the other hand I don’t think that it would be that difficult to make one yourself not that you have been given the idea. Heck I can’t sew to save my life and I reckon I could make one.

Mental German Woman Builds her Own TARDIS

Sillysparrowness is apparently a German teacher and a YouTube Sensation (If she wasn’t before she will be having built a TARDIS, that’s how the internet works isn’t it?) In the above video she goes through the trials and tribulations of building a collapsible TARDIS.

The video is worth watching if only for the “Bag of Shame”.
