Weird But Hypnotising Vocaloid Spoof

I can’t stop watching this, the YouTube video describes this as “The Most Disturbing Anime Video Ever” it’s not disturbing at all though, it’s a spoof on the “Vocaloid” genre of music popular in Japan.

On a side note here is Nyan Cat in Project Diva a Vocaloid Rhythm Game for the PS Vita…

DyE – Fantasy Music Video (NSFW)

I found this by clicking on a random link to the side of a YouTube Video, it’s a really haunting song and a really messed up video.

From the video description:

Tigersushi and Excuse My French are pleased to present the new video for DyE’s new single, Fantasy.

Directed by animation wunderkind Jérémie Périn, the video tells the story of a group of highschool kids ready for teenage mischief. They break into the local swimming pool intending a session of innocent nightswimming, in an awkward climate of romance and apprehension.

What happens next is for you to discover here. nsfw.

Fujiya & Miyagi – Sore Thumb Vector Graphics Music Video

I found a GIF of prt this video while browsing Tumblr yesterday, so I had to look it up. While the music isn’t my cup of tea, I like the vector graphics feel of the video, it really reminds me of the hours I spent Playing Spectre VR as a kid on my Pizza Box Mac LC II.

In case you don’t know what I’m talking about here is a 20 minute video of someone else playing Spectre VR:

My Megadrive Music Video

I’ve recently gotten into bit tunes in a big way and this video by 2080 really appeals to me. I’m aware that I just slagged off Ufunk  for lack of attribution but I found this there.

The video features a character playing through levels that are inspired by old Genesis/Megadrive games on a quest to get his Megadrive back. The dance battles at the end of each level are amusing.

Eerie Japanese music video: Take it easy, Okay?

This Eerie Japanese music video has amazing visuals, I especially like the Guitar hero esque bit with the tabliture sliding accross the screen. The vocals are almost hypnotic…

The Song is called “Yukkuri Shiteitte ne!” or Take it easy, okay? and is apparently made using Vocaloid (Wikipedia link) which is a sound processor made by yamaha that will sing your lyrics for you, the voice used is Hatsune Miku, which is surprisingly a Japanese female voice. Hatsune Miku (???? or ????) translates to First sound future.

Hatsu (?) = First.
Ne (?) = Sound.
Miku (??) = Future.

Crazy what you learn from watching a random video on You Tube…
