The Nintendo Lunchbox Entertainment System

I’d have killed for this as a kid… Heck I’d probably kill for it now. What do you do with a broken N.E.S.? Turn it into a lunch box of course!  And for good measure you’d better use the controller as a handle .

NES Coffee Table by Matt Cyborgelt

I saw the above image and was like “Hey cool space invaders chair” then I was like “NES TABLE!!!!!!1111 one one one one”.

This is awesome, I want one, there is an entire gallery of images of the table over on Matt’s Flickr.

The Cartridge slot opens to reveal an extra large fully functional NES controller.

I think he has it wired up with his cable box inside, the controller ports are actually power sockets so he can plug in his laptop and the back opens up so he can reach the back of his cable box and whatever other gizmos he has in there.

NES Controller Rug and Cushion

NES Nintendo Controller Rug

This rug (above) and the cushion (below) are from Etsy seller WTCrafts, and I want them both… It’s a shame that the rug isn’t “durable” according to the description as I’d love a NES controller door mat, but it would probably get knicked anyway.

N.E.S. Dress By Liz Tan

Crafty Liz Tan has made this awesome N.E.S. controller Dress for a Halloween party she went to. There is a whole Flickr set of images from the video game inspired Halloween party on Flickr.

Sadly it doesn’t look like she’s selling them but on the other hand I don’t think that it would be that difficult to make one yourself not that you have been given the idea. Heck I can’t sew to save my life and I reckon I could make one.
