Crazy Katana Headphones

I’m not one to describe things as being “Crazy” lightly but in this case that is actually what these headphones by Japanese Company Solid Alliance are actually called. At first thought you’d think it might be quite cool to wonder about looking like your cranium had been skewered by a roaming ronin (Who for some reason decided not to reclaim his sword) but thinking about it, these actually defeat the purpose of headphones.

I wear headphones as a means of trying to blank the world out, if you wore these you would have a constant stream of people hassling you to comment on your, arguably quite cool, headphones.

They don’t just come in Katana form though, the “Crazy” range also includes an apple with an arrow through it, a mushroom and mini ears.

There is also a second set which allows you to have bolts (Called the Franken) a banana, cat’s paws or sushi coming out of your ears…

Next Gory Japanese Movie I Want to Get: Dead Sushi!

When sushi goes bad! I’m not entirely sure what the premise of this film is aside from bits of sushi killing people, and to be honest I’m not sure I need much more of a premise. Dead Sushi is by the same people who did Machine Girl and Robo-Geisha which you can tell by the voice over on the trailer which sounds like the same guy who did the voice over for the Robo-Geisha trailer.

I have a copy of Robo Geisha sitting on my shelf waiting to be watched, the only reason that we haven’t watched it is that Avarinne and I have an agreement that she will watch iton the condition that I watch Human Centipede, why she wants to watch Human Centipede I don’t know…

Pac-Man Dumplings

YoSushi’s twitter feed linked to this yesterday with the title “Pac-Man Sushi” or rather they didn’t link to this article they linked to an image of this image, I did the grunt work to find the source, and as I expected it’s not sushi they are Chinese Dumplings… From the article:

Pac-Man Shrimp Dumplings are served at Red Farm, a Chinese restaurant in New York City, in this Dec. 13, 2011 photo.

They do look tasty though…
